Pre-lesson
1. Review the animals.
2. Mime to guess the animals .
Lesson delivery
3. Pupils look at the picture in the SB page 36 .
4. Elicit what animals they can see and where some of the are .
LEARNING OUTLINES
5. When pupils have learnt the song , practise it the whole class and then in groups .
6. Focus pupils on the plural nouns .
7. Write the s for the plural using a different colour .
8. Say each plural noun for pupils to repeat.
Post lesson
9. Pupils sing the song again .

Pre-lesson
1. Task 6 ( FINGER WRITING ) using animal vocabulary
Lesson delivery
2. Review animal vocabulary if necessary. Play pelmanism using the cards pupils made in
Lesson 85.
3. Show the pictures of the children and tell the pupils their names (as on worksheet). Put the
pictures on the board and write their name under them.
4. Give out worksheet (or write the table on the board, asking pupils to copy it into their
exercise books).

5. Ask pupils to read the sentences about the children in the pictures. They should read and
put a tick or cross (or write yes or no) in the table depending if the child likes or dislikes the
animal.
6. Have pupils check their answers with a partner before checking with the whole class.
7. Ask pupils to write their own name under the names in the table and put ticks or crosses in
the table for their own likes and dislikes.
8. Pupils tell their partner what they like and dislike before some pupils tell the class.
