1. A cantilever beam AB of length 6m is fixed at A and propped at end B. It carries a point load
25kN at 3m from fixed end. Level of the prop is the same as that of the fixed end. Determine
i) Reaction at the prop. ii) Draw shear force and bending moment diagrams.

2. A fixed beam of 5m span is loaded with point loads of 100 kN at a distance 1.5m from each
support. Draw the bending moment and shear force diagrams. Find also the maximum
