Double Entry Diary (D.E.D.

) for ​THE SCORPIO RACES


A Study in Multiple Perspectives in Fiction

Directions:
1. As you read, focus on how Day and June see the world from their unique perspectives.
2. Get to know these characters by their ABCs (Actually their ABCDEFs).
3. ​Use the yellow prompt cards ​to help you identify interesting portions of text that relate to character
development and to help you formulate your response.
4. For each independently read chapter, ​the number​ ​of responses (entries) required will be assigned. ​ ​Each
response​ must be at least ​3 sentences long​.

6. Your ultimate goal is to write a response that clearly communicates the details of your thinking as a reader
as it relates to the character development of Puck and Sean.
