As a volunteer it was important that I’d dress appropriate for the position and had a mature
attitude as it was the matter of patient confidentiality. I would co-ordinate where the
packages for the patients would go and where the stock would go. I had to have high level
of awareness due to it being busy and listen to instructions correctly to succeed in carrying
out different tasks

This role with damart has helped me to build my selling skills, as we have targets that we have
to achieve; I try to exceed my targets to better the company as well as for myself. The role
itself gives me the skills to work in a pressured sales environment. Also working at damart has
helped my interaction skills as we are taught to give our customers the best service possible
and with this skill i am able to apply it to any job/business I go for.
