Future Perfect Tense


Future Perf ect Tense is used to express an action w hich, the speaker assumes, w ill have completed or occurred in the f uture. It
gives a sense of completion of a task that w ill happen in the f uture.

e.g. The patient w ill have recovered f rom illness by the next month.

This tense is also sometimes used to express completion of an action in f uture bef ore another activity happens.

e.g. She w ill have learnt the Chinese bef ore she moves to China.

Structure of Sentence:
M ain Ve rb: Past participle (3rd f orm of a verb)
Auxiliary ve rbs : Will have”

POSITIVE SENTENCES:

Subject + Auxiliary verb + Main verb + Object


Subject + Will have + Past participle (3rd f orm of verb) + Object

Exam ple s :
He w ill have completed his project by Saturday.
They w ill have enjoyed party.
She w ill have bought a new laptop.
I w ill have taken my breakf ast.
The kids w ill have played f ootball in the school.
He w ould have f inished his task.
He w ould have taken admission in the college.
You w ill have completed you report.
She w ill have started a new job.
He w ill have taken the test.

NEGATIVE SENTENCES:

Subject + Auxiliary verb + Main verb + Object


Subject + Will NOT have + Past participle + Object

She w ill have not come here.
They w ill have not w ritten application f or leave.
You w ill have not enjoyed the gathering.
She w ill have not brought her papers.
The boys w ill have not eaten their f ood.
They w ill have not seen us.

INTERROGATIVE SENTENCES:

Will + Subject + Have + Past participle + Object
