INTRODUCTION

INNOVATION

Innovation is a change in the thought process for doing something or

"new stuff that is made useful .It may refer to an
incremental emergent or radical and revolutionary changes in
thinking, products, processes, or organizations. Innovation is any
idea applied successfully in practice.
In organizations

A convenient definition of innovation from an organizational

perspective is given by Luecke and Katz (2003), who wrote:

"Innovation . . . is generally understood as the successful

introduction of a new thing or method . . . Innovation is the
embodiment, combination, or synthesis of knowledge in
original, relevant, valued new products, processes, or services.”

It should be noted, however, that the term 'innovation' is used by

many authors rather interchangeably with the term 'creativity' when
discussing individual and organizational creative activity.

Innovation can be in different forms, such as,

• In the form of new product.
• In the form of new and creative marketing strategy.
• In form of some creative promotional and advertisement
method.

If you thought innovation is a buzzword only among entrepreneurs

and big corporate houses , think again. Even the juice shops have
devised innovative ways to attract customers by providing customers
with variety of high quality juices and shakes at nominal prices.
Example of one such shop is being discussed here, that provides
customers with good quality juices and shakes.

COMPETITION

This shop faces no competition with any other juice shop in that area, but it
is itself a big competitor for other juice shops as customers are attracted to
this shop and not the other ones.

FUTURE EXPANSION
The shopkeeper doesn’t want to be restricted to this place (ROHINI
EAST,NEW DELHI) only but wants to spread his business to other areas of
Delhi as well to make it a brand.
SUGGESTIONS
The suggestions that I would like to give to this shop owner are ;
• To increase his sales he should employee one person for the home
delivery of juices and shakes in that area only, so that he can better
serve the customers.
• He should start selling his juices in any nearby hospital also,
because ,as the quality of juice is good, so it will be preferred by the
patients and in this way he can increase its sales.
• He should distribute pamphlets to the nearby areas for the promotion
of his shop.
