service and retrofit business in eastern region during 1999 to 2002.
• As Resident Engineer, executed 400KV Substation of Power Grid project at Agra during the years 1985
to 1987
• During 1983 to 1984, executed total Iron Ore Project at West Africa as Resident Engineer under
BBC/CEM France.
• Erected commissioned and resolved operational problems of HV products during 1977 to 1982.
Successfully executed erection & commissioning of 400KV equipments at NTPC Shatinagar, UPPCL,
Kanpur, Obra, Power Grid Agra etc.

Responsibilities:
• As Assistant Vice President and Group Head for Service, Retrofit & Spares, Power products, ABB Ltd.,
lead a group of power plant professionals and provide prompt after sales service to the corporate clients
in the Northern Region.
• Development & handling of Chanel partners in northern region.
• Develop a network in the power generation, transmission & distribution industry and acquire various
orders for projects, retrofitting, Spares & service.
• Follow up with the clients for control of receivables.
• Work for expansion and revenue enhancement of the project / spares / retrofit /revamping business.
• Identify, monitor and control the inventory level of spares by managing the stores.
• Undertake the inspection, erection, safety, commissioning and operation jobs and with Customer as the
key focal point, attend and resolve operational problems and customer complaints of power products to
the entire satisfaction of customer.
• Develop personal rapport with the customers.
• Develop a cohesive team of 51 engineers, excluding BAU engineers on duty in North Region and new
service engineers, enhance their skills and competencies through personalized training and monitoring.
• Through motivation and encouragement achieve the business targets.
Major Achievements:
• Provided prompt and reliable service to the customers and enhanced customer satisfaction and
successfully acquired service business of 1.4 Billion INR.
• In 2008 the service business achieved 1400 MINR for northern region.

Responsibilities:
Service Management:
• Through a team of 51 service engineers, provided service to the clients and ensured targeted revenue
generation.
• Followed up with the customers for the outstanding payments.
• Promptly attended service calls, interacted extensively with the clients and ensured maximum
utilization of the power generation equipments.
• Reviewed the project requirements, specifications and time frames.
• Mobilized material and manpower resources at site and carried out site repairs if any as per schedule.
