Working since May’ 2008 with Asian Paints Limited as a QA officer.

Asian Paints is the largest Paint Company in India with a turnover of Rs. 5000
Crores. Recently taken over IBU segment of Berger India in Egypt and African
country. An ISO9001 and 14000 certified company. Also the biggest and first SAP
implemented chemical industry in India. Certified with British Safety award for good
implementation of Safety, Health and Environment

Key Achievements

 Successfully maintained the master samples of finished goods and all the raw
materials with revalidation at proper time periods.
 Improved Quality Rating Index from 9.40 to 9.83 on a scale of 10.
 Successfully completed Project on Variance in a raw material, Dipentine used
as a deodorant in manufacturing all Decorative Paints. This has resulted in direct
savings of approx 8.6 lacs per annum. It has also resulted in improved Service Level
of Plant.
 Implemented Waste Water Reuse scheme in Emulsion Paints thereby saving
above Rs. 25 lacs per annum.
 Improve the particle size of Resin and make NCP batch usable.

 Analysis of Raw Materials, Testing and clearance of all Intermediates (Resin

and Non Resin), all packing materials, Trade and Industrial Products.
 Active participation in NPD (New Product Development) and in process quality
assurance, Maintaining Records & Documentation work related to QA.
 Auditing different section as per ISO 9001 and ISO 14000
 Conducting the PCPA Audits to stabilize Process as well as Product quality
 Working on Lead and heavy metal free paint development
 Pre-determination of shortage of materials as per scheduled plan to avoid
shortfall & daily flushing of critical shortage/feedback report to each concerned deptt.
for immediate action.
 Joint testing with vendor representative during rejections and preparation of joint
testing report containing rejection analysis, action plan and root cause identification.
Working and maintenance of sophisticated instruments like Gas Chromatograph, UV Visible
spectrophotometer, Karl Fischer titrater, validation and upkeep of master samples of Pigments,
extenders , oils, solvents , monomers etc.

 Six Month Diploma in Quality Management From QPG Chandigarh
(Associated Branch of BSI,U.K.)

Academic Qualifications

 M.Sc. in Chemistry, passed with 70% from Guru Jambheswar University, Hisar (2006-
2008).

 B.Sc. passed with 61% from Kurushetra University Kurushetra (2003-2006).
