We will be having a practicum to prepare a preserved

food using the different methods and ingredients in


making processed food. What ingredients do you

We will make a carrot pastillas, the ingredients that

usually used in making pastillas are sugar, milk, flour,

butter, vanilla, and confectioner sugar. What

packaging material are we going to use?

Polyethylene bag

The first procedure is to select first the carrot

wash and peel, grate it into five particle. Set

aside it. Sift the dry ingredients. Add the

creamed butter gradually, add the carrot pulp

and mix it. Set aside and make it cool. Pack it.

D. Generalization

Food Preservation is keeping the food improved and making it good condition from its original
state, to prevent food from decaying. Through preservation of food it makes the food more
beautiful and presentable that we can use it to decorate other food and can store for a long period
of time.
