To Whom It May Concern,

I would like to express my interest in the K-12 Guidance Counselor position within Arthur
County Schools.

Currently, I am teaching K-12 Special Education at Arthur County Schools. I have come to find
it is my heart’s desire to be a Guidance Counselor, I am sincerely invested in the youth of Arthur
and the students. I would like to take my ambition to assist students with their education,
behavior, character, and help to prepare for what their future may bring in any way possible. I am
very happy with my current position; however, this has been a goal of mine for quite some time
and the opportunity is now here so I would like to act upon it and fulfill my long-term goals.

Throughout my experience, I have discovered my passion lies within working to improve and
help educationally, behaviorally, and to empower students for their future. I have had experience
and/or observation in many different, diverse areas. I demonstrate many key characteristics that
this position needs to exhibit: a love of teaching, I am outgoing, dependable, dedicated, timely,
and organized. I am also always willing to learn.

It is very crucial to me to develop a relationship with the students, their families, and all teachers.
Communication is very important and plays a factor in many areas of life. I am very driven and
would like the opportunity to work as the Guidance Counselor in Arthur County Schools. I have
the upmost sincere intentions and hopes for Arthur County Schools. Having lived here for the
past five years and planning to do so for all my years to come on our family ranch I would
appreciate the chance to develop and implement a strong program for Arthur involving
Guidance. I have a passion to help others and work in the school setting.
