If unit is tripped at a different temperature from that indicated at zero, this
curve can still be used by moving the time scale over so time zero coincides
with the actual temperature when the unit is tripped. See example at point
‘‘A’’ in which unit is at 850° F (approx. 455° C) when tripped.
