Read the passage. Then answer each question.

Kate and Josh lived next door to each other. One day their mothers
decided to take them for a barbecue. They packed a picnic basket
with: cups, plates, forks, knives, a bottle of lemonade, buns, and lots
of sausages. When they found a picnic spot they unpacked the basket.
Josh’s mum put the sausages on the barbeque.

Then they went for a walk. As soon as they left,

a hungry bear came out from behind the bushes.
He said, “Watch out there! I am the hungry bear!
When they came back from the walk, they saw
that some sausages had gone. They watched
and waited. Then they saw a bear coming to
take their sausages.

“It’s the hungry bear!” they shouted. They rushed at the bear. “Don’t
take our sausages!” they yelled. But it was too late. The hungry bear
ran off with their sausages.
