LEARNING OUTLINE
I) PRE-LESSON T writes down three words on the board and asks P to guess the title of the poem.
Lipstick, Valentine Heart and Rose
II) LESSON P are assigned into groups of four to five.
DEVELOPMENT P are given the poem ‘What is Red?’
Each group is assigned with 6 lines.
P read the poem and underline the phrase that contains nouns and adjectives.
With assistance of T, P have to draw pictures to express their understanding on the
meaning of the vocabularies.
If P face difficulties in drawing, T can provide pictures for the P to match with their
respective parts of the poem.
P read the poem and show their illustrations to present in front of the classroom.
III) POST-LESSON T recaps the lesson and consolidate the lesson.
