The study plan for Master degree in International Relations

INTRODUCTION
First of all , I am grateful to you giving me a chance to
introduce myself and explain my plan and my ambition to study
in your esteemed Universities . I am Khaled Abbas Al-Moayed .
I am from Yemen . I graduated from Sana'a University in 2015 .
I studied political science and graduated with very good grade.

Since I have decided studying political when I was in 10th

grade in high school I was dreaming to study in great University
and great country. however, I couldn't study the bachelor
outside my country because financial issues . I didn’t have
enough money to travil and to pay for college in other
countries . So, I decided to study master and PHD in political
science in a great University trying to make up what I lost
during bachelor's period.
I was a graduate from the Political Science Department and I
was the scientific and academic officer of the Political Science
Association of Sana'a University between 2013-2015 . Also, I
was a representative of the Political Science Department for a
long time during the study period and I attended many
seminars and political activities.

I Also, had training courses in political and humanitarian fields

such as (Civil Society Organization – The local Authority –
Volunteer Work and Community Development – The Social
Equity – Child Rights- Humanitarian Work and Charity- Water
and Environment –The Reality of Development Problems-
Health Issues – Agricultural Issues – Livestock and fisheries –
People with Special needs Issues- Qat and its effects on
development –Building team skills –Meeting Management –
communication skills- Youth Development and leadership –
Partnership skill – Establish youth and Development Initiatives
– Problems analysis skills – Concepts of Conflict Resolution –
Drafting Report Skills). My English is also excellent , I have
studied more than 20 courses in English, the most recent being
the TOEFL preparation course. I have studied English in an
attempt to see as much scientific and political references as
English is the most prevalent.

I chose studying this filed because The Political science is

considered as one of the most important disciplines in
humanities. It is directly related to all disciplines and fields
related to people's lives. For example, political science is
related to economy, security , life management, rights, justice,
human rights, low studies and the development of nations.

The importance of the study of international relations.

International relations is one of the most important branches of
political science. It deals with the analysis of relations among
countries and the analysis of the conflict of interest between
countries and the mechanism of managing disputes and crises
among themselves in peaceful and sometimes violent ways,
starting with diplomacy and ending with war.

During the period of my university studies, I have done many

research in political science. The research of international
relations has been one of the most interesting researches. I
have done many researches in the study of relations between
the Arab countries as well as the relationship of Yemen and
many neighboring countries such as the Saudi Arabian
Kingdom, Oman and Somalia.

I have long aspired to study in the field of international

relations because of my great love for this specialization . Also, I
try to understand the course of events between the countries
and nations. As you know, the situation in our region especially
the Middle East countries is very complex In the current period.
Due to the overlapping interests of regional and global
countries, which led to the destruction of many countries in the
Middle East and caused the deaths and injuries of hundreds of
thousands of innocent people and the displacement of millions
of citizens in those countries and caused the collapse of the
economy of these countries and the destruction of
infrastructure . My ambition was to study international
relations trying to understand what is happening in our region
and hoping to find useful and realistic solutions away from the
predictions and blind instigations that have introduced our
region in a bloody conflict.

why study in china

China is one of the world's largest and most prestigious
countries. It is the second economic country and the first in the
next few years as expected in the world .As you know, the
superpowers have a lot of relations and activities that target
other countries, especially the poor and war-affected countries.
Fortunately, the activities and assistance of the People's
Republic of China towards the poor country affected by wars
and disasters are positive and helpful activities. These activities
have helped millions of people in these countries to overcome
their crises. The positive attitudes taken by the People's
Republic of China towards the crises experienced by many
countries in the Middle East are positive attitudes that helped
avoid the shedding of much blood and contributed to the
stability of the region. Also, China has also made many
development projects for poor countries, especially in the
Middle East For example, China has completed many
development projects in my country Yemen including the road
linking Hodeida to Sana'a, which was established by China more
than 50 years ago . This project is still proof of the greatness of
Chinese aid to Yemen . Also, the Yemeni-Chinese friendship
bridge in the Yemeni capital of Sana'a is one of the greatest
Chinese achievements in my country.

My choice for studying in China was based on the depth of the

relationship between China and Yemen and on the generosity
of China and the people of China, and because of China's
generosity and achievements over the past 50 years, China has
been the first to choose the completion of the master's and
doctorate studies.

In conclusion, the conditions in Yemen during the current

period and the circumstances made my desire to complete the
study in my country impossible. Government salaries have
been suspended for more than a year and a half. Many
universities and scientific institutions have been closed because
of the war. Moreover, my financial conditions do not permit
completion of Master and PHD.

Despite these difficulties, the generosity of the Chinese

government and people and their unlimited support to the
poor and affected people gave me great hope to receive a
scholarship to study in your wonderful university, which is one
of the most important Chinese universities, which considered
studying in your university one of my most important dreams
which I seek to achieve.

I would like you to give me the opportunity to complete my

studies at your university to have the privilege of studying in
the People's Republic of China and in your university, which is
one of the greatest Chinese universities .
