Mepu RCW 200 – 600 is for bigger farms. The main
components of the dryers are well-known from the
thousands of mobile dryers already supplied by Mepu.
SILO DRYERS
The drying cells of Mepu contain plenty of air brushes.
The short air brushes ensure even drying of grain. The
combination of high temperature and plentiful air
creates optimum drying conditions. Mepu RCW dryers
have six rotating feed drums, each with five long blades.
These will ensure even feed in all circumstances throug-

Mepu RCW- junior 100 – 310 is for small and
middle sized farms. The working principle in
RCW- junior is that of a traditional silo dryer. It
is smaller than it’s big brother RCW so it fits

RIDGED DRYING CELLS
The ridges are of equal dimension and similar spacing
to those in Mepu mobile dryers, which are known for
their excellent drying properties. The drying cells of
Mepu contain plenty of air brushes. The short air
brushes ensure an even drying of grain. The combination
of high temperature and plentiful air creates optimum
drying conditions.
The cells contain interceptors on both the fan and
extractor side for drying small batches of grain. Opti-
mum drying conditions for each customer are achieved
by varying the number of drying cells and grain bins.
CONTROL CENTRE
Each delivery includes a fully automated control centre
as standard. The centre is equipped with necessary
warning lights, a meter for measuring user hours, current
overload protection, automated re-starting of opera-
tions, powerhood switches and automatic safety cut-
out. Drying time is controlled by a timer and an accurate
digital thermostat stops the drying at the optimum
moment. It is easy to read the temperatures for drying
and exhaust air on the digital screen. The centre also
houses controls for the feeding apparatus and its
frequency transformer.
PRE-CLEANER / SPREADER
All models benefit from a motorised pre-cleaner
(0.75-2.2 kW). The grain travels along a sloping con-
veyer system. An aspirator extracts air from beneath
the conveyer system and the perforations for com-
pensating air. This removes small grains, impurities
and dust particles efficiently from a batch of drying
grain. The motorised spreader (RCW 200-600) divides
and spreads the grain evenly throughout the grain
bin.
ELEVATORS
The efficient and silent rectangularly profiled 60-
100t/h cup elevator guarantees fast operations and
loading/unloading of the dryer. The elevator will
give many years of service: all its structures are
manufactured of galvanised steel. The elevator comes
equipped with a shaft-mounted geared motor, no
belt changing or tightening needed. The top of the
elevator contains an aspirator as standard. It removes
dust when grain travels to the silo from the elevator.
Feeding apparatus, emptying cone and stainless steel
circulating tubes are included in the delivery package.
