BUSINESS RESEARCH METHODS 2
Managers Research or plans of action include a few sorts of exploration whether it is for
introducing a new product in the market, promoting a product in the market, product redesigning,
or problem solving (Ho et al,2010). For a business, research must be completed so as to address a
specific problem in order to increase its efficiency and also stimulate business growth in the long
run (Campbell, 2009). Considering all factors, business thrives in a market driven economy.
Therefore, anything that is not making profit ends up costing the business, which further calls for
proper research on the efficiency of the business. As indicated by our course reading, great
exploration and research ought to take after investigative business strategy. Therefore, managers
have to follow various steps in order to obtain reliable results during the research. This steps
include the research philosophy, research approach, research strategy, research design, collection
of data and analyzing of data. This enables managers to make informed decisions thereby
The major purpose of this research is to examine how different methods are used in
(Kohlbacher, 2006). This study also aims at researching and evaluating the acceptance level of
the mixed methods within the various businesses and the fields of management. In 2 Corinthians
2: 17, you will see how some of these research tools help us to broaden our understanding of the
Scriptures. Think of researching God's matchless Word as a treasure hunt -- the deeper you dig,

population. Sampling is preferred as it is less expensive, saves time and gives more accurate
results. Therefore, the researcher is able to draw a valid conclusion from the results. Surveys are
conducted in order to establish the data and information which will be used to get a solution for
an existing problem (Probert, 2006). For this study, 0.5 percent of the population will be sampled
Ethical issues
The researcher explained to the respondent the purpose of the study. The researcher first
of all sought respondents’ consent to participate in the study while assuring them that their
participation as voluntary. The respondents were not required to provide their names or any
specific form of identification on the research instruments. Each of the participants was assured of
total confidentiality and that the information they provide will be used for research purposes only.
During administration of the tools, the researcher observed decency, openness and honesty and

Conclusion
Following this research, we obtain that mixed methods should be applied in research
because they are generally acceptable by many individuals both in the management field and also
the business field. Mixed methods have also been shown to be biblically streamlined which leads
to ethical and upright decision making. Even though some respondents were uncooperative
during the research, most respondents showed clearly that mixed methods leads to a proper and
morally upright decision making. Therefore, mixed methods can be conclusively said to be the
