OVERVIEW
The 2 speed Reduction Gear is a valuable investment for vessels with different kinds of operational
profiles, some demanding little energy to the propeller (e.g. searching) and others with high propeller
power requirements (e.g. full-speed cruising).
The graph below shows the direct effect of reducing the RPM using the 2 Speed Reduction Gear.
