performing various duties in relating to human resources and budget. Reviewed
resumes to determine applicant qualifications and make determinations on which
applicants hold the necessary experience and education for vacant positions;
Analyzed recent Executive Orders providing management with a summary to include
effects on the agency; worked closely with employee relations staff to develop letters
of caution/warning and reprimands for employees failing to follow leave procedures;
coordinated agency wide retirement training, including preparing course materials;
participated with the agency ethics specialist to ensure all materials were in order
prior to a departmental audit.

feedback is considered on important chapter decisions. Responsible for
gathering and filing in an electronic data base alumni information. Verifying all
data is accurate and up-to-date. Organize alumni events, recognize
outstanding alumni for their dedication, and prepare alumni communications,
including monthly newsletter. .
o Merchandise Committee – Responsible for coordinate and purchasing
merchandise for the sorority members and alumni
o Recruitment – Participate in all recruitment activities and ensure the
recruitment process runs smoothly
o Philanthropy – Participate in Madithon, an annual 12-hour dance marathon
benefiting the patients of the University of Virginia Children’s Hospital in
Charlottesville, VA. This year the sorority raised over $110,000 for the cause.
