Check for Skew before proceeding and if present perform the Skew

4. Select Adjusted side and each tray, using 8.5 x 11, 20lb or 75 gsm paper.
5. Measure from the short edge of the sheet of paper to the first horizontal grid lines, it
should measure about 9 to 10 millimeters. If the Inboard or outboard measurements are not
equal, adjust until measurements are as close as possible. This will accurately register the
image on the sheet of paper for each tray.

6. Once each tray has been adjusted with the COMP set to OFF, Select COMP ON. Check
and adjust for each tray starting with tray 1. Usually after the first tray is adjusted with
COMP ON, the rest of the trays will be correct. If one of the trays appears off compared to
the rest, check the side guides of the tray for play or wear.
7. Check registration from DADF, Platen and Print/DFE jobs that may have been causing
registration issues.
