Clara Henry
Looking at the history of feminism and interna onal icons of the
movement, Henry debunks myths and dissects the terminology with
useful guides, e.g. on the difference between catcalls and compli-
ments, ps on opening up conversa ons on feminism. She illustrates
the argument for equality, the unhelpfulness of mansplaining and gen-
dered privilege, and issues a rallying cry for healthy a tudes towards
our emo ons, bodies and sex.
With the rise of the #metoo movement, Clara Henry has wri en an
indispensable, radical manifesto for feminism today that should be
read by anyone and everyone, female, male and non-binary alike. A
survival guide for anyone who has ever been exposed to – or thought
about — everyday sexism in society, with humorous, insigh ul anec-
dotes drawing on the author’s own experiences, and akin to Emer Publishers of I’ve Got My Period...
