What Is Diphteria ?

Do you know about Diphteria? Diphtheria is an infection caused by bacteria and will cause infections
that can spread to other organs, such as the heart and nervous system. generally the infection attacks
the mucous membranes of the nose and throat, and can sometimes affect the skin. The disease is highly
contagious and includes serious life-threatening infections. Diphtheria is caused by Bacteria and
autoimmune disorders.
Corynebacterium is a bacterium that spreads the disease through particles in the air and
personal objects and household appliances that are contaminated. Examples include:
1. inhaling air particles from coughing or sneezing from patients infected with diphtheria the process
is that if someone suffering from diphtheria sneezing or coughing will release fluid or bacteria and the
particles will fly in the air, if we inhale it then the bacteria will enter into our respiratory tract and will
infect our respiratory tract.
2. using toiletries and eating alternately with patients such as toothbrushes and glasses are used
interchangeably with diphtheria sufferer then the bacteria contained in the object will enter into our
body and will easily infect our throat and lung channel.
3. touching the wounded tissue of patients with diphtheria.
this method is very effective for spreading bacteria, especially in places of infection and crowded
places..
Autoimmune disorder is a condition that occurs when the immune system mistakenly attacks
and damages healthy tissue. Usually, the immune system forces white blood cells to help protect the
body from harmful substances, called antigens. Antigen includes bacterial diphtheria, viruses, toxins,
cancer cells and blood or tissues from other people or species. The immune system will make
antibodies that destroy harmful substances. in immune autoimmune disorders will appear and will
damage the healthy immune system and healthy body tissue. in someone whose immune has a strong
percentage of the bacterial virus infected by diphtheria is less than that of a weak immune, if a person's
immune is weak then easily the bacterial virus diphtheria enter the body and will damage the antibodies
in the body.
Diphtheria caused by a bacterium called corybacterium and a low immune system will harm
the body. So we have to keep our body healthy so that our immune system will not decrease and our
immune system stay strong, besides that we also have to give vaccine to ourselves and children, and
we always have to bring personal protective equipments like masks when in public place which usually
spread diphtheria bacteria is very high.
