This year we will be studying important

events in Canadian history which made
Canada into what it is today. For this
assignment, the entire class will be
working together to create an illustrated
timeline which documents a number of
important events from Canadian
history. You and your group will be
responsible for researching one of
these important events, and then
creating the following based on your
research:

1. A brief presentation - 3 Minutes about your event for the class

2. A Symbol or Illustration of the events you have researched
3. A brief summary of the events - roughly 100 words
4. Answer one content question in the Social 7 Program of Studies (Pg 15-19) about your event.

The Question we will answer is _________________________________________________

______________________________________________________________________

______________________________________________________________________

5. Create a multiple choice question that can be answered with the information you provided to the
class.

You will be assigned both a partner, and an event for this assignment. We will have 2 Full
classes to work on this, so presentations should be well constructed, informative, and engaging!
