RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

Conceptual Framework

Population of study
The overall population of this research study comprises of the management staff working in
manufacturing department of beverage industry specifically in Coca Cola Karachi, Pakistan.

Sampling Technique
Sampling technique used for this study will be non-probability convenience sampling.
Convenience sampling is used for convenient of researcher so that vast amount of time is not
needed and research is concluded in limited amount of time
Sample Size
For the issue of sample size, there is no consensus e.g. Sekaran (2010) has suggested that
minimum sample sizes needs to be 30 for multivariate analysis. Anderson (2010) has suggested
appropriate size of sample needs to be 250 while others recommended taking size of sample
based on level of confidence & interval for confidence. So, for this study the sample size
selected is 70.

Instrument for survey


For collection of data, a five-point Likert scale structured/close-ended questionnaire will be
administered through self-administered survey.

Methods for data analysis


For the analysis of data, SPSS version 20 will be utilized.

Development of instrument
The overall instrument contains 17 items ranging from 1-5. From 1 representing strongly agree
to 5 representing strongly disagree. Instrument has demographics section while another section
which contains 6 items each for independent variables reverse logistics & supplier assessment
and 5 items for dependent variable organizational performance which were adapted from Hua
Song (2017).

Statistical Analysis
Various statistical analysis tools will be utilized in this research. These tools include descriptive
analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis and multi- regression analysis
