ANNOUNCEMENT FOR MBA, MCA AND MCA LATERAL ENTRY
POST GRADUATE (FULL-TIME) PROGRAMMES : YEAR 2018-19
For the admission in first year of Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Computer
Application (MCA) and MCA Lateral Entry (Direct Second Year) in Government, Grant-in aid and
Self Financed Institutes in Gujarat State on State quota of all institutions and management quota
surrendered seats of self financed institutes, Government of Gujarat has decided to carry out
web based online admission process for the academic year 2018-19. Eligible candidate has to
register online through internet as per the details below.
1. Eligibility for admission: Candidate shall have appeared at CMAT examination 2018
conducted by AICTE and shall have passed qualifying examination (graduation) with minimum
50 % (45 % for SC/ST/SEBC) for MBA, MCA and MCA Lateral. For MCA, candidate shall also
have passed the Higher Secondary School Examination (Standard XII, 10+2 pattern) or
Bachelors’ degree with Mathematics or Business Mathematics or Statistics as one of the
subjects. For MCA Lateral Entry (direct Second Year), candidates who have passed the
qualifying examination in the stream of Bachelor of Computer Application or Bachelor of Science
(IT) or Bachelor of Science (Computer) are only eligible. Candidates whose graduation result
is awaited can also apply. However merit number in such case will be given, if the marksheet
of passing of qualifying exam is submitted within the scheduled time limit.
2. The candidate can get the PIN Cover for MBA or MCA by paying Rs. 350/- and for MBC
(for MBA & MCA Both) by paying RS. 500/- in cash from the designated branches of
Kotak Mahindra Bank (as per the Bank Branch list available on site www.jacpcldce.ac.in link
MBA/MCA) during banking hours (except holidays) from 26th June, 2018 to 2nd July, 2018.
3. For online registration, candidate should visit web site www.gujacpc.nic.in during
27-06-2018 to 03-07-2018. Online registration will start on 27-06-2018 at 01:00 p.m. Candidate
should enter his/her CMAT Roll No. of CMAT 2018. Please note that after 03-07-2018, candidate
will not be allowed to register online. Candidate who purchase MBC PIN, can register for both
MBA-MCA at the same time. Candidate does not require to register for MBA-MCA course
seperately.
4. After online registration, candidate has to submit print-out of registration form and self attested
photo copies of the required documents at nearby Help Centre and get acknowledgement
slip, on or before 03-07-2018 up to 05:00 p.m. Candidate has to bring required original
documents for the verification. List of designated help centres is also available on web site
www.jacpcldce.ac.in. MBA-MCA link. Documents verification for each and every candidate
is necessary. Without document verification candidate’s registration can not be confirmed/
completed.
5. Information related to online admission like registration, key dates, List of Kotak Mahindra
Bank branches, Notifications, details of institutes, last admitted rank, seat matrix, eligibility,
reservation policy, e-booklet, help centre list, registration fee, tution fee, format of certificates
is available on web site www.jacpcldce.ac.in. Helpline number of ACPC is 079-26566000.
6. The working hours of Help centre will be from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm except public holidays and
online admission related help will be provided free of cost.
