Hello! My name is Debbie Morgan. I am a zoologist and I work to preserve and

save endangered species. Animals are disappearing from our planet, because
of the changes in climate, hunting, and the destruction of their habitat.
There are only 700 mountain gorillas, 2,000 giant pandas, between 2,000
and 3,000 Bengal tigers in the world. There were more than 200 condors last
year. The Chinese dolphins disappeared in 2006. Many species are extinct in
the wild forest and can only be seen in zoos. Elephants are killed for their
meat or body parts (there are only 350,000 in Africa). Big cats are killed for
their fur, or hunted in safaris for fun! So it is our responsibility and yours to
do our best to preserve the biodiversity of our planet!!
