GS-6 is a non-hazardous gel stabilizer used in fracturing fluid systems utilizing sea water or hard water. This
product softens water chelating divalent ions in the waters. It is to be used exclusively with either Spectra FracTM
or Viking fluids. Concentrations range from 1 to 10 gallons per thousand gallons of base water depending on the
degree of hardness.

Features

Aqueous Solution
GS-6 is an aqueous solution making it easy to use in on-the-fly operations.

Buffered pH
The pH is adjusted in GS-6 so that addiitonal buffer is unnecessary.

Benefits

The ease of use and the non-hazardous nature of GS-6 make it an excellent choice for high BHST conditions
when using sea water as the base fluid.
Adds stability to fluids using a borate crosslinker at high temperatures.

Limitations

GS-6 is not to be used in metal-based crosslinked fluids.
