Welcome to Connect, the new
newsletter from Arnlea. We
wanted to create a publication
that directly connects our clients
and users, delivering the latest
exciting developments.
Workforce mobility is a hot topic for our
clients. The oil industry has had to adapt
to the lower oil price over the last couple of
years. Oil companies have had to reduce
their cost base, including shedding staff
and contractors. One of the challenges is
getting more productivity from less people.
Productivity in the UK is a long-term
problem, with no increase at all in the
last 10 years. So, it’s even more of a
challenge for the UK oil industry to improve
productivity, both in the office and out in
the field.
Mobile technology is a key enabler to
improved productivity, as many other
countries have already found out – and
that’s where Arnlea comes in. Our
Intrinsix software product suite delivers
greater productivity and efficiency in the
materials management and inspection
& maintenance areas. Intrinsix works on
handheld and tablet devices to allow
remote users to both enter and access key
operational information where it matters –
at the “coalface”.
Firstly, Intrinsix drastically reduces data
duplication and replication of data,
eliminating data entry and unnecessary
administration as well as improving the
quality and speed of data for decision
making. But more significantly, Intrinsix
allows the user to do more work more
quickly, whether it be receiving goods into
the warehouse or inspecting an item of
equipment.

Multi-Asset Deal for
Intrinsix Ex with Chevron
We have signed an agreement with Chevron
for the deployment of Intrinsix Ex, across five
of the operator’s North Sea Assets.
New Client Chrysaor
Chrysaor, which acquired a package of North
Sea assets from Shell earlier this year, has
committed to using Intrinsix Ex on three of its Johan Zwiegelaar
assets. Their contract is for one year, with the Developer
option to extend.
