Listen carefully to me and spell each word correctly in the blanks.

1. The mice nibbled on the leftover food on the table.

3. They baked an enormous cake for the king for his birthday.

Section B: Picture Matching (4 marks)

For each question, look at the four pictures and listen carefully while I read you a sentence.
Do not write anything until I have finished reading the sentence. Then put a tick in the
correct box of the picture you have chosen.

There are four boxes, one for each picture.

Let us start with an example.

Aunty Sally is in the kitchen washing the dishes.

Put a tick in the box for the correct picture.

Now, let us do questions 4 to 7.
