They remain in tableau the whole time.

PHILIP
Have we held this pose long enough?

JAMES
Sh.

THOMAS
Little bit longer.

JAMES
Don’t be in a rush to end this. Just let it happen.

PHILIP
This was your idea wasn’t it.

JAMES
No.

THOMAS
Bartholomew.

JAMES
I don’t remember anymore.

PHILIP
I think it was Bartholomew.

THOMAS
It was Bartholomew.

PHILIP
How do you remember that?

THOMAS
I just do.

Sh.

A moment.

PHILIP
I’m hungry.

JAMES
Philip...

PHILIP
I’m sorry, I’m hungry.

THOMAS
What’d he say?

JAMES
He said he was hungry but I told him to shush.

THOMAS
I can help out.

PHILIP
You can?

THOMAS
Maybe.

JAMES
No you can’t, we’re holding the pose.

THOMAS
Why are we holding the pose again?

JAMES
It’s what we do.

PHILIP
Every meal.

THOMAS
I’m tired of it.

PHILIP
Me too.

THOMAS
What do you want?

PHILIP
What?

THOMAS
To eat.

JAMES
Guys...

PHILIP
Pass me a roll.

THOMAS
I don’t think I can.

PHILIP
I don’t need a lot of rolls.

THOMAS
How many do you need?

PHILIP
You know.

THOMAS
You want one roll don’t you.

PHILIP
Hehe.

JAMES
Stop it.

PHILIP
Haha.

THOMAS
I’ll get you one from the bowl near Jesus.

JAMES
Not that bowl.
(beat)
Trust me.

PHILIP
I can’t hold this any more.

THOMAS
Your pose is easy. Try doing this every time.

JAMES
Every meal we eat all together.

THOMAS
It really doesn’t make any sense.

PHILIP
Actually, this might be the first time it actually does make sense.

THOMAS
Well, I’ll tell you what, this is the last time I’m doing this.

JAMES
That’s fair.

PHILIP
Yeah. Last time.
