PROBLEMS

The field trip of various destination is aimed at critically examine the

facilities and services status the destination in addition to attain

knowledge. Though the trip of kullu, Manali Rohtang and Manikaran

has been a wonderful experience, yet there is high level requirement

of public and private sector in order to dominate the problems and

developed tourism effectively. Following are some of the problems

which were observed during the field trip.

 Road System : -
The road system was not good of Kullu and Manali. The roads
were very narrow and so the chance of accident can increase
with this problem. There no railing at the sides of the road
which can causes of any accident.
 Hotel Accommodation :-
There were scarcity of Star Hotel which must be any
destination.
 Transportation :-
There was another big problem of dust and pollution. Pollution
of traffics destroyed the purity of environment.
 Rash Driving :-
Yet there was so much experienced driver though
driver are very rashly.
 Water problem :-
Water problem is another problem we faced mainly in Rohtang.
There was no system of drinking water.

 Safety and Security :-

India has been suffering from many attacks from outside and
we didn’t saw any police staff doing inquiry anybody and even
with us. In market there no police for satiety.
 Network :-
In Rohtang there was no network of any mobile phone. If any
miss happening with any body there then how he/ she can
contact with their group or friend.
 SUGGESTIONS
 Improved Road System
Road should be improved and would be double road and railing
must be at the sides of the roads.
 Hotel Accommodation :-
There should be five star hotel because foreign tourist like five
star and want more facilities.
 Transportation :-
There should be rail service and air service which can attract a
large number of tourist and they didn’t face any problem from
transportation.
 Pollution :-
Government should be control the pollution so the more and
more tourist come there.
 Control Rash Driving
Government should be control the rash driving for this
government should limit the speed and if any driver then drive
above from limit speed he will pay fine.
 Safety and Security :-
Firstly safety and security should be there. When anybody enter
in the enter in the boundary of Kullu Manali should be checking
by police there and police also should be in the market for
peace.
 MY EXPERIENCE
This trip was a nice experience for me. I enjoyed it very much, as all
did. The places we visited are very beautiful, specially for Nature
lover these are worth visit.
At about 9:1 0 P.M. we departed from a Kurukshetra whole night we
traveled in the bus. We Took tea at 12:15 P.M. on a DABA after
crossed the Chandigarh all were in a great mood. Some stared
dancing, some were talking, singing and telling jokes and some were
sleeping also. All the night full of enjoyment.
In the Kullu Valley we stooped on a Tea- Shop on the bank of
River beas. At 8: 30 A.M. we reached Manali at 12:40 P.M. we
stayed at Hotel PARADISE after taking our both we went to market
and Took Lunch. Then we Took taxis on rent for visit local sites.
There we visited HIDIMBA Temple. This temple is dedicated to
HIDIMBA. There was foot print of HIDIMABA. There are a van vihar.
It was built in 1533 A. D. by king Bahadur Singh in Pagoda Style. It
was declared a protected monument on 18-04-1967 by Himachal
Govt.
Then, we go to Shiva Temple in this temple there are statute of Nandi
and Shivaling out side the temple there was a ideal of Kartik and it
was decorated by Mantra. There was a Jhommer of wood in temple
and the step of the temple are 14 in number.

Then we to Club house in Club house there was a bar, restaurant

Garments shop and other facilities are pool table, Lawn Tennis,
Chess, D.J. Video games. There are a court of badminton and we
also came back in hotel in 7:40 pm after that we went to market for
shopping and dinner. Then we come back in hotel at 9:30 pm.
Next day we get up at 5:30 O’clock we took bath and took breakfast
at 7:00 am at 7:45 am. We left the hotel for Rohtang. Then we took
tea on a tea shop and took over coat at rent at 11:00. We reached
Rohtang. We enjoy skiing and took tome snaps of now peaks. There
we play with snow. All were very happy at this place after that we
come back Manali at 6:00 pm then we went to the market and took
dinner in Ashok restaurant at 8:45 pm we come back in hotel at
9:30pm.
Next morning after taking our bathing and breakfast we sent to
Manikarna. There we visit Gurudawara. There was a hot water
spring. There we took some snaps and took lunger in Gurudawara.
Then we went to market of manikaran for shopping. After that we
started for Kurukshetra an about 5:00 am we reached at arrival
point.
 CONCLUSION
Tourism is today known as fastest growing industry that is not only
important its enormous economic benefits, but also it has scene of
backward areas where other sources are eligible. Tourism can also I
prove the economical situation of a country. Tourism can also
improve the balance of payment situation of the countries.
Besides such problem financial constraints and internal distance.
Now as day’s very positive step has been taken by the country to
ensure a rapid pace of tourism development.
The field trip cum exposure tour program to various destinations
certainly provided rate opportunity to us to see various destination
attractions. During the trip we face some problem which can easily be
cradicated. These problems. Are raised because of some miss
arrangement. So concerned austerity should try to remove those
problems. Same problem can fully remove but to some afford those
problems can be reduced. Overall we enjoyed the all trip to except
mentioned problems.
