Outline
This document describes the procedure for installing the additional feature (Feasibility Report
Feature) to the AMNC Ver.5.0.0000.0058 Patch 4.

NOTE: This is not supported for the version before

Ver5.0.0000.0058 Patch4.

NOTE: Please perform the operation in accordance with the instruction in this procedure.
If operation is not performed in accordance with the instruction in this procedure, or if there
is any omission of operation, proper operation may not be performed.

Installation Procedure
Installation (Feasibility Report Feature)

NOTE: This is not supported for the version before

Ver5.0.0000.0058 Patch4.
Please confirm that the version is this version or later.

1) Turn on power of machine and insert the CD for installation to CD drive.

2) Press the [MAINT] button.

Press the [PARAM] button.

3) Press the [SYSTEM] button and input [1] in No.32 [SYSTEM ADJUSTMENT] and press the
[EXIT] button.

 NOTE: If the first digit in the last four digits of the machine serial number is [3], (For example:
10253009), please disable EWF (allow writing) in accordance with [Operation Manual for EWF
Setting_3rd.doc].

(COMMAND: The procedure for changing the status to the status that EWF is being disabled
(allow writing).)

<1> Press the [UTILITY] button in the [MAINT] screen.

<2> Press the [EwfMgr Operate] button.

<3> When EwfMgrOperate runs, the following dialog will be displayed, so press the [EwfDisable]
button.

EWF status of current XP-Embedded

is indicated.

Press the EwfDisable button.

COMMAND changes to
Ewf_DISABLE.

<4> When you can confirm that the display of [COMMAND] is switched to [EWF_Disable], press
the [OK] button.

Confirm
“COMMAND=Ewf_Disable”.

<5> Press the [EXIT] button.

Turn off power of machine.
When machine is normally terminated, turn on power of machine.

<6> The following dialog will be displayed.

(The question that asks if you want to make the EWF setting enabled from disabled will be given.)
Press the [No] button.
AMNC software will run.

4) Press the [MAINT] button.
Press the [UTILITY] button.

5) Press the [Explorer] button.

6) Explorer will run, so please execute “E:¥AMNC-Installer¥SetUp.exe”.

7) Installer will run. Please confirm the language and press the "OK" button.

Normally, following message will be displayed at this moment. First of all, please select [Remove]
and uninstall the previous version. And then, go back to the step 4) and restart the operation.

8) Press the "Next" button.

9) Select a setup type.

Confirm that "Typical" has been selected, and press the "Next" button.

10) Confirm the contents to upgrade a version, and press the "Next" button. The version upgrade
will be started, so please wait until all processing are completed.

11) When the following screen is displayed, press "Finish" button.

12) Quit the Explorer.

13) Press the [EXIT] button, and close the [UTILITY] screen.

14) Press the [PARAM] button.

15) Press the [SYSTEM] button, and input [0] in No.32 [SYSTEM ADJUSTMENT] and press the
[EXIT] button.

16) Turn off power of machine.

When machine is normally terminated, turn on power of machine.
That's all.

NOTE: If the first digit in the last four digits of the machine serial number is [3], (For example:
10253009), please enable EWF (prohibit writing) in accordance with [Operation Manual for
EWF Setting_3rd.doc].

(COMMAND: The procedure for changing the status to the status that EWF is being enabled
(prohibit writing).)

<1> If turning on power of machine, the following dialog will be displayed.

(The question that asks if you want to make the EWF setting enabled from disabled will be
given.) Press the [Yes] button.
And then, Windows-XP will be automatically terminated.
If turning on power of machine again, the status will be the status that EWF is being enabled
(prohibit writing).
