Are You Ready To

Conquer The World?
About My Father’s Business Network Institute - a place where real world
education meets real world Christian living.

Christians face more than the normal pressures of the day-to-day world.
Christians come face-to-face with the forces of “wickedness” that want to
steal, kill and destroy a person’s body, soul and spirit. We at AMFBN
Institute understand that and we make it part of our mission to prepare
our students to combat those forces as a total person, living in two
worlds. Visit us at www.amfbn.com/institute

“Stand fast therefore in the liberty [freedom] wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be
not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.” (Gal. 5:1)

Based on this verse, we can see that Paul was talking to people who had come out of bondage
and were in danger of going back into bondage. Having tasted freedom, why would people
want to give it up? Because freedom is something that is hard to maintain (“Stand fast
therefore in the freedom”), is constantly under attack (“entangled again”) and it is some-
thing that was a gift and not earned making it hard to accept (“Christ made us free”).

Also, on the other side of the coin, getting into bondage is something that hap
ubtlety (“be not entangled”) and once it happens it's hard to get out of (“the yoke of bond-
age”).
