Albert Einstein was a German physicist of the


nineteenth and twentieth centuries (he was born
on March 14, 1879 and died on April 18, 1955)

 Albert Einstein was born in Ulm, Bavaria, Germany on


March 14, 1879. The following year of his birth, his
parents, of Jewish religion, moved to Munich, where the
father was established as a merchant in the

young Albert renounced his German nationality four
years later he was awarded the Swiss

Albert Einstein leaves Germany in 1933 with Hitler's
access to power and renounces the Prussian Academy. He
emigrated to the United States and in 1940 he acquired
American citizenship.

Albert Einstein developed in 1905 the


famous "Special Theory of Relativity".
His base were five articles published by
the scientific journal "Annals of
Physics" (Annalen der Physik). One of
them dealt with the photoelectric
effect, for which the Nobel Prize was
awarded in 1921.
