WIVACRYL AS 50
STYRENE ACRYLIC PAINT BINDER

WIVACRYL AS 50 is an aqueous, anionic, plasticizer-free acrylate/styrene copolymers dispersion. It is

specially designed for production of all types of paints such as quality textured finishes, Interior flat
paints, Exterior Flat Paints & Multipurpose Interior/Exterior Coating, and as an additives in all hydraulic
binders.

It is also used in the manufacture for building adhesives, tile adhesives, laminate adhesives, etc.

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES

Appearance : Milky white

Emulsion. Solid content (150o c/ 20 min) : 50 +_ 1 %
pH when packed : 7.5-9.0
Viscosity ( Brookfield RVT#4/20 @ 25oc ) : 2000-8000 cps.
Film test (draw down 250-micron ambient temp.): non-tacky, clear, free from bits.
Charge : Anionic

FILM PROPERTIES

 Good flexibility.
 Excellent resistance to U/V light, alkali, salt water, etc.
 Excellent pigment binding properties.
 Good resistance to aging.
 Excellent alkali resistance.

ADVANTAGES

the compatibility of their components & their adhesion to different substrates are affected by various
factors/ parameters which are difficult to cover in our application test methods.

VEOVA BASED BINDER FOR COATINGS AND SEALANTS
