RESERVING AS CIVIL RESERVATION FOR MINDANAO STATE UNIVERSITY (MSU)

SITE-GENERAL SANTOS UNIT AND HUMAN SETTLEMENTS FOR LANDLESS
FAMILIES A PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN AS DESCRIBED ON
BUREAU OF FOREST DEVELOPMENT MAP C.R.-198, SITUATED IN GENERAL
SANTOS CITY, PHILIPPINES.

Upon recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources, I, FERDINAND E.

MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do
hereby set aside as Civil reservation for Mindanao State University (MSU) Site-General
Santos Unit and Human Settlements for landless families, subjects to provide rights if
any there be, that parcel of land containing an aggregate area of approximately 556
hectares, situated in General Santos City, as shown and described in the attached BFD
Map C.R.-198 and more particularly described as follows:

A parcel of land beginning at a point “1” on the plan identical to corner 1, alienable or
disposable, Cotabato Project No. 47-G, a bearing of S 62º E,. 260 meters to point 2;

thence S 62º E, 270 meters to point 3;

thence S 62º E, 260 meters to point 4;
thence S 62º E, 260 meters to point 5;
thence S 62º E, 260 meters to point 6;
thence S 62º E, 260 meters to point 7;
thence S 62º E, 120 meters to point 8;
thence S 45º W, 1,060 meters to point 9;
thence S 07º E, 770 meters to point 10;
thence N 66º W, 250 meters to point 11;
thence S 31º W, 200 meters to point 12;
thence N 67º W, 250 meters to point 13;
thence N 58º W, 250 meters to point 14;
thence N 59º W, 250 meters to point 15;
thence N 47º W, 240 meters to point 16;
thence N 41º W, 140 meters to point 17;
thence N 75º W, 1,050 meters to point 18;

There is excluded from the operation of this proclamation a strip of 15 meters in width
on each of any public trail therein used as outlet for timber and other forest products,
and a strip of 20 meters in width from the highest bank on each side of any stream for
stream bank protection in such areas that will be released as not needed for forest
purposes.

The utilization of forest products existing in the area shall remain to be subject to Forest
and Internal Revenue Laws and Regulations.

The area shall automatically revert to its former status as timberland in the event that
the same is no longer needed by the Mindanao State University and Human
Settlements.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the
Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 11th day of November, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen
