Background of the Study

Cyber bullying or cyber harassment is a form of bullying a harassment using electronics means.

It has become increasingly common, especially among teenagers. Harful bullying behaviour can

involve posting rumors, threats, sexual remark, a victims personal information, or pejorative

labels. Bullying or harassment can be identified by repeated behaviour and intent to harm victim

may have lower self-esteem, increased suicidal ideation and a variety of emotional response,

including being scared, frustrated, angry and depressed.

Statement of the Problem

Cyber bullying started from social networking and advancing new technologies. As soon has

children get to use the internet and unsupervised the problem started. From them created a social

media account such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and the list continue if social media outlet

that kids are used to said harmful message are do harmful rings to each other. There was this

story of a Phoebe Prince who was bullying in person and online and torment wouldn’t stop.
