The prophecy of John of Jerusalem

This visionary prophecy describes the present time with a fascinating acuity ...
It was written in 1099 by John of Jerusalem (or Jean de Vezelay), one of the 8 founders of
the Knights Templar.

The first part of the prophecy is a grim prediction for the period of 2000, "Thousand Year
comes after the Thousand Year". Conversely, the second part of the prophecy foretells a

I see and know.

My eyes find in heaven what will be and I passed the time by one step.
A hand to guide me what you see nor know.

Thousand years have passed and Jerusalem will never be the Crusader town of Christ.
