We, the faith community of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, in striving to be like

Sacramental Ministry
BAPTISM—Parents are asked to attend Baptismal Preparation classes. These classes are held on
the 3rd and 4th Thursday of each month. Please call the office to register for these classes. Bap-
tisms are usually not celebrated during Lent.

MARRIAGE—Please call the church office at least six months before the intended date to begin

Bereavement Committee
The Sacred Heart Bereavement Committee is look-
ing for new team members and leaders! If you are
interested in helping families, in our parish, at the time
of a death of one of their own, by providing food and/or
beverages for a meal after the funeral please contact Committee Chair-
man, Noreen Pettitt at 256-473-1726. It is a small commitment (once or
twice a year) but has a great comforting impact on those families affect-
ed. The Sacred Heart Bereavement Committee would like to thank out-
going Chairman Mandi King for her 17 years of dedication to this commit-
tee. She and her teams have touched countless families who have lost
loved ones through this ministry.
