Acts 17:1-14 KJV Acts 17:1 Now when they had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they

came to Thessalonica, where was a synagogue of the Jews: 2 And Paul, as his manner was,
went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures, 3 Opening
and alleging, that Christ must needs have suffered, and risen again from the dead; and that this
Jesus, whom I preach unto you, is Christ. 4 And some of them believed, and consorted with
Paul and Silas; and of the devout Greeks a great multitude, and of the chief women not a few. 5
But the Jews which believed not, moved with envy, took unto them certain lewd fellows of the
baser sort, and gathered a company, and set all the city on an uproar, and assaulted the house of
Jason, and sought to bring them out to the people. 6 And when they found them not, they drew
Jason and certain brethren unto the rulers of the city, crying, These that have turned the world
upside down are come hither also; 7 Whom Jason hath received: and these all do contrary to the
decrees of Caesar, saying that there is another king, one Jesus. 8 And they troubled the people
and the rulers of the city, when they heard these things. 9 And when they had taken security of
Jason, and of the other, they let them go. 10 And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and
Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews. 11 These
were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all
readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. 12
Therefore many of them believed; also of honourable women which were Greeks, and of men,
not a few. 13 But when the Jews of Thessalonica had knowledge that the word of God was
preached of Paul at Berea, they came thither also, and stirred up the people. 14 And then
immediately the brethren sent away Paul to go as it were to the sea: but Silas and Timotheus
abode there still.

Romans 15:4 4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that
we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
1 Corinthians 10:11 11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are
written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
1 Thessalonians 5:21 21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
Hebrews 11:6 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must
believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Hebrews 6:9-12 9 But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that
accompany salvation, though we thus speak. 10 For God is not unrighteous to forget your work
and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the
saints, and do minister. 11 And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to
the full assurance of hope unto the end: 12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who
through faith and patience inherit the promises.
2 Timothy 2:14-15 14 Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord
that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers. 15 Study to
shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly
dividing the word of truth.
2 Timothy 4:2-4 2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort
with all longsuffering and doctrine. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound
doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4
And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
2 Timothy 3:14-17 14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been
assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15 And that from a child thou hast known
the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is
in Christ Jesus. 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for
reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be
perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
Galatians 2:8 8 (For he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision,
the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles:)
1 John 2:27 27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not
that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is
no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
John 14:26 26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my
name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have
said unto you.
John 16:13-15 13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for
he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew
you things to come. 14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto
you. 15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and
shall shew it unto you.
Luke 13:23-27 23 Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto
them, 24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and
shall not be able. 25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door,
and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he
shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: 26 Then shall ye begin to say, We
have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. 27 But he shall
say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.
