General Visual Inspection of the AHRS Control Panel Connectors (MRB#052000−308)
1. General
A. The maintenance procedure that follows is for the general visual inspection of the Lightning / High
Intensity Radiated Field protection in connectors on the Attitude and Heading Reference System
control panels (abbreviated AHCPs). The two AHCPs are installed in the forward end of the
center console.

3. Job Set−Up
Subtask 05−20−00−910−015

A. Obey all the electrical/electronic safety precautions (Refer to TASK 24−00−00−910−801).

Subtask 05−20−00−910−016

B. Obey all the electrostatic discharge safety precautions (Refer to TASK 12−00−06−861−802).

4. Procedure
Refer to Figure 606.
Subtask 05−20−00−210−010

A. Get access to the connector at the rear of each AHCP (1) as follows:
(1) Release the fasteners (3).
(2) Pull out the AHCP (1) from the center console. Do not disconnect the electrical connector
(2) from the panel (1)
B. Do a general visual inspection of each AHCP connector (2) as follows:

(1) Make sure that the connector is correctly installed and connector screws are tight.
C. Install each AHCP (1) as follows:
(1) Install the AHCP to the center console.
(2) Secure the AHCP with the fasteners (3).

5. Close Out

A. Remove all tools, equipment and unwanted materials from the work area.
