Student Expectations:
 Students are expected to use their agendas daily to record assignments and assessments. A daily
agenda will be posted on the board.
 Students are expected to attend class regularly, be on time and be prepared (with pencils, pens,
notebook, textbook, and homework).
 Homework can be expected on a regular basis. Homework is essential for student practice.
Students must show their work on each problem in order to receive credit. An assignment that only
has answers on it will not be accepted. All assignments can be found on my class website, as well as
your child’s agenda.
 Absent students are responsible for making up all missed class work and homework assignments.
Instead of asking for missed assignments in class, students can visit my class website. Extra help is
available and encouraged. I am able to help students during class, as well as outside of class by
appointment. Students should be concerned about their progress on a daily basis, not just at the
end of the grading period.
 Group grade policy: If students are allowed to choose their group or partner, each person in the
group will receive the same grade for the assignment/assessment.
 Students may not receive more than 2 U’s in one subject area and still pass that subject.
