Center-Lock Seat Design
The “Conier-Lock" heavy duty seat design incorporates
rigid locking of the seat in the body ot four poinis. This
virtuolly eliminates ony seat movernent during seating
‘and un-ceating of the disc. The unique “Center-Lack" seat
offers the rigidity of an in-situ molded liner valve ond
replaccebility ofa soft seoted liner valve.

The stem retention is designed for easy on site disassembly

Improved Disc/Seat/Siem Sealing
The disc/ soot /stem intrfocing area is designed foreficiont
sealing. A precision radius machined on the upper ond
lower disc hubisprestedinto the seat sealing faces o ensure
postive “primary sealing’. Two molded O-rings nthe upper
‘and lower seat joumals press against the stem shaft
ensuing postive “secondary sealing’. The sealing prevents
tho stam and body from coming intoccontact with line mecto.

2 Self lubricated bronze sleeve bearing to reduce becring
friction and operating torque
3 Thick bronze bushing absorbs octuator side thrusis
417-4 PH stainless stool pins fited tongentially half in disc
‘and half in stem placing them in compression rather than
shear. This eliminotes potentil for failure. O-rings insure
bubble-tightshut off under pressure or vacuum
5 Bronze vertical thrust bearing eliminates disc displacement
