At the end of 60 minute period, 75% of the students are expected to:

 Define what biography is.


 Discuss the importance of giving credit to your sources of information.
 Write a research report.

B. Motivational Activity

1. The teacher will post two pictures on the board about plagiarism and will ask the students about
their ideas about those pictures.
2. Motive questions:
What did you observe from those pictures?
What are the pictures trying to convey?
Have you experienced doing the same? How and Why?

C. Presentation of the lesson


Class, our lesson for today is about “Bibliography”.

D. Lesson Proper
The teacher will ask the students about their ideas on bibliography. After defining and discussing what
bibliography is, the teacher will explain how to write a bibliography and will give examples.
After the discussion, the teacher will play a video clip about Plagiarism 2.0: Information Ethics in the
Digital Age.

 A bibliography is a list of the sources you have used (whether referenced or not) in the process of
researching your work.

 A bibliography should include:


1. The author’s name
2. The titles of the works
3. The names and locations of the companies that published your copies of the sources.
4. The dates your copies were published.
5. The page numbers of your sources (if they are of multi-sources volumes.)

 Play a video about Plagiarism 2.0: Information Ethics in the Digital Age.

IV. Assessment
Directions: In a one-half sheet of paper, write an essay of why it is important to give credit.
Minimum of 70 and maximum of 120 words.

V. Assignment
1. Make a research report of a certain topic; For instance: What are the risks of climate
change and global warming? Cite your sources of information. Use the APA 6th edition in citing
your sources.
