 o A student planning a career in management wondered why it was important to learn cost and
management accounting. How would you respond? Give some examples to support your point
of view.

 Its mandatory for those who panning a career in management to learn and practice
cost and management accounting ; because it provide useful information to aid
planning, controlling , organizing and decision making , which are the core of
management career .
For example:
 Without knowing the cost and management accounting it will be difficult to prepare
or use managerial reports, it’s also difficult to make managerial decision based on
accounting information.
Using cost and management accounting is the best base for planning, organizing and
controlling over the business.
