" Something is happening in the world of fashion. Experts are calling it

the Kate Effect, and it´s changing women´s clothing in the UK and the
USA. What is the Kate Effect? Ask Kate Middleton, the Duchess of

People often talk about celebrities´ clothing. But after Kate Middleton
married Prince William in 2011, her clothing started a fashion revolution.
Every item of her clothing became instantly popular. The day after her
wedding, the duchess wore a blue dress from Zara with a short black
jacket. Immediately, women everywhere went to buy the same dress. In
fact, within hours, there weren´t any more of these dresses in the shops.
The same thing happened with her other dresses and with her colourful

Topshop. They want to dress like her,- and they can! "
