FY1 SURGICAL LEARNING OBJECTIVES LOGBOOK

Dear FY1s. We would be grateful if you can please choose and CIRCLE 10 of the following 20 learning objectives
you want to achieve during the next 4 months on your surgical rotation. Each objective has been carefully selected
so you can achieve a DOP, CBD, CEX or combination of the three.
As you acquire these WBAs, please tick them off the list. The surgical consultants are aware of the learning
objectives and have been informed by Miss Vig that they must help you acquire these WBAs. Therefore these
objectives should be straightforward to achieve. At the end of the rotation, please complete the questionnaire at
the bottom and return the whole sheet to myself or the PGMC. Once we collate the data you can have a copy of
this logbook for your portfolio If you wish.
If you encounter any problems, please email me on davidshier@doctors.org.uk
