At Biman, we are looking for candidates for the position of “Manager-Information

Technology (IT)” & “Manager-Software & Programming” on contract basis from
Bangladeshi nationals as per the following terms & conditions:

1. Name of Post : Manager-Information Technology (IT)

Number of post: 01 (One)
Pay Group & Salary: PG-VIII, Consolidated Salary:Tk.1,20,000/- (Basic salary
50,000/-)
Nature of employment: Initially for 03(three) years on contract basis. Contract period
may be extended after completion of 03 years service if Biman deems his/her service
necessary.
Qualification: Bachelor degree in computer science or computer engineering or
information technology or CIS or programming or software engineering. At least two 1st
divisions/classes are required upto graduation level. GED Degree and 3rd divisions/class
or equivalent result in any examination are not acceptable. Masters degree in the above
subjects will be given preference.
Age Limited: 35-45 years as on 20/05/2018.
Work Experience: Five or more years experience in a large scale IT environment with a
large part of it within an IT Systems and Operations discipline.
Skill requirement: a) Ability to learn about new technologies and techniques and
implement the same. b) Problem solving skills and give appropriate solutions. c) Good
technical skills on latest technologies. d) Ability to explain complex information in a
simple way. e) Able to work as an individual and also in a team f) Able to work in
stringent schedules and deadlines. g) Strong technical and non-technical communication
skills. h) Willing to take the assigned job and execute the same in a logical method. i)
Strong leadership ability with a track record of developing people and achieving
challenging objectives. j) Airline industry knowledge is a plus.
Fitness: Medically fit. Those who are medically unfit, suffering with chronic diseases
such as high blood pressure, diabetes, heart diseases, epilepsy etc. and dismissed from
service on disciplinary ground need not apply.

Qualification: Bachelor degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical
or electronics engineering, information technology, CIS, programming, software
engineering. At least two 1st divisions/classes are required upto graduation level. GED
Degree and 3rd divisions/class or equivalent result in any examination are not
acceptable. Masters degree in the above subjects will be given preference.
Age Limited: 35-45 years as on 20/05/2018.
Work Experience: Five or more years experience in a large scale IT environment with a
large part of it within an IT Systems and Operations discipline.
 Skill requirement: a) In depth knowledge in one or more programming languages (e.g.
PHP, NET, HTML, C++, etc.) b) Ability to quickly learn about new IT applications,
programming languages and techniques. c) Good coding skills on latest technologies d)
Ability to explain complex information in a simpler way. e) Able to work as an
individual and also as part of a team. f) Able to work in stringent schedules and
deadlines. g) Willing to take the assigned job and execute the same in a logical method.
h) Strong leadership ability with a track record of developing people and achieving
