Rationale for Curriculum Use: This application provides students with non-fiction news articles
daily, that are engaging and high-quality stories which allows students learn about current
events and the world. Each text is available in different Lexile levels to provide differentiation
within the classroom and reach all levels of readers. Customizable quizzes and writing prompts
are also included with each text. This application provides students with a way to practice close
reading skills and demonstrate what they have learned in the process.

Rationale for Curriculum Use: This app offers paperless writing for students who prefer to
handwrite or cursive write, instead of typing. Students will be able to send their work by email or
save their work on the app as PDF. This app has a split screen allowing teachers to
demonstrate on the SMART board, using the ELMO project, to model effective note taking for
students.

app that will promote success academically, socially, and behaviorally depending on their
learning goals. Students can create a daily routine, strategies, and curricular learning goals to
assist them throughout their school day. Teachers can use this app to create and print concept
cards and maker card to support students learning.

engaging way to learn a new language. There are different ways that students complete
activities; through typing or selecting translations, selecting a picture to match a word, and
listening and typing translations. This application is a great way for ENL/ELL students to
practice what they learn in school and reinforce their skills.

math skills in fun and engaging math-related games. The games are differentiated based on
the student’s ability level. Students will be motivated to compete against their classmates or
other students around the world.

demonstrate their learning and applied knowledge through technology, games, activities, and
experiments during the school day. This game based learning can be implemented through
