If
you
want
to
be

the

you
need
to

Information

the

We
attempt
to
furnish
as
much
information
as
possible
about
internship
locations
and
host
companies
to
potential
interns.
In
order
to
do
this,
we
need
to
have
files
with
up‐to‐date
information.
Therefore,
we
would
like
you
to
send,
along
with
your
first
progress
report,
a
description
of
your
host
company
and
any
information
folders
you
may
be
able
to

We
are
collecting
information
about
internship

companies
and
we
would
appreciate
receiving
an
extra
set
of
information
from
you
about
your

company.
You
can
send
it
along
with
the
material
you
are
sending

are
expected
to
have
regular
contact
with
the

Please
inform
the
internship
supervisor
as
soon
as
you
start
the

and
give
through
your
local
mobile
telephone
number.
Please
keep
your
internship
supervisor
up
to
date
concerning
developments
by
email
at
least
once
a
month.
An
evaluation
of
the
total
period
of
Internship,
the
Business
Improvement
Project
as
well
as
your
personal
development
will
take
place
with
the
SUIC
internship
supervisor.
A
comparison
will
be
made
between
the
actual
situation
and
your
expectations
at
the
beginning
of
your
Internship.
The
evaluation
is
based
on
the
progress
report
and
the
grading
sheet
of
the
project.
Illness,
vacation
and
working
hours
The
internship
period
covers
at
least
5
months
and
this
is
exclusive
of
vacation.
If
you
are
ill
during
the
internship
or
are
able
to
take
some
vacation,
you
will
need
to
work
these
extra
days
at
the
end
of
the
internship.
During
the
internship,
students
will
follow
the
legal
working
hours
of
the
company/
country
concerned.
Problems
during
the
internship
It
is
possible
that
a
variety
of
problems
may
come
up
during
the
internship.
Please
follow
the
next
steps
in
order
to
find
a
solution:
1.
Try
to
solve
the
minor
problems
yourself.
If
necessary
through
consultation
with
your
supervisor
within
the
host
company.
7
MBA
Professional
Project
Course‐Book
August
1,
2009
2.
If
the
problems
are
of
a
more
serious
nature,
they
need
to
be
brought
to
the
attention
of
your
SUIC
internship
supervisor.
3.
In
case
of
a
problem
that
could
result
in
your
leaving
the
host
company
before
completion
of
the
internship
contract,
you
are
required
to
inform
your
SUIC
supervisor,
in writing (letter/ fax/ e-mail ),
of
the
situation
within
24
hours.
In
consultation
with
the
SUIC
internship
supervisor,
the
host‐company
supervisor,
and
the
MBA
Coordinator
an
effort
will
be
made
to
find
a
solution
to
the
problem.
It
is
possible
that
this
consultation
will
result
in
a
decision
to
terminate
the
internship.
Depending
on
the
evaluation
of
the
terminated
internship,
a
decision
will
be
made
as
to
whether
the
internship
is
to
be
entirely
or
partially
repeated
at
another
location.
An
unsatisfactory
assessment
will
limit
the
opportunity
to
repeat
the
internship
to
only
one
further
chance
in
Thailand.
The
unilateral
breaking
of
the
internship
contract
by
the
student
without
the
explicit
permission
of
the
MBA
coordinator
and
the
SUIC
internship
supervisor
will
always
result
in
the
assessment
of
the
internship
experience
as
unsatisfactory
and
will
mean
that
the
internship
has
to
be
redone.
This
may
result
in
further
delay
in
the
completion
of
your
study
program.
The
unilateral
breaking
of
the
contract
by
the
host
company
can
result
from
a
number
of
possible
causes.
In
such
a
situation,
get
in
touch
with
your
SUIC
internship
supervisor
at
once
and
also
inform
the
MBA
coordinator
in
writing
of
the
situation.
If
your
“failure
to
perform”
is
the
cause,
it
can
result
in
the
internship
receiving
an
unsatisfactory
evaluation.
Before
issuing
an
evaluation
of
the
internship,
however,
the
SUIC
internship
supervisor
will
confer
with
all
involved
parties
in
an
effort
to
determine
the
cause
of
the
breaking
of
the
contract.
The
SUIC
internship
supervisor
has
the
final
authority
for
evaluating
the
internship.
If
he
can
endorse
the
reasons
for
the
termination,
he
shall
assign
an
evaluation
of
unsatisfactory.
Progress
reports
Progress
reports
need
to
be
completed
during
your
internship,
including
a
report
on
the
progress
of
your
project
(
see
Appendix
F/
G
).
The
first
progress
report
you
must
hand
in
after
30
days
internship.
Exact
dates
of
submission
of
further
reports
are
posted
on
the
appendixes.

This
means
