Coordination of all simulation activities for Chesapeake College healthcare professions. Will serve as a re-
source to healthcare faculty to promote simulation pedagogy. Five year goal of developing plan to become
an accredited simulation center. Developing plans to implement programs to support both internal and ex-
ternal constituents. Oversee maintenance of simulation technology and be sure that all equipment remains

Oversee clinical portion of Chesapeake College EMS program. Establish and maintain MOUs with clinical

Function as paramedic in 911 emergency response system. Respond to sick or wounded and determine
appropriate care and transport destination. Participated in quality assurance committee which included
peer reviews. Maintain emergency vehicle and all appropriate emergency equipment on a daily basis.
Operated an emergency vehicle daily. Maintain patient care reporting and other applicable documents.

Captain, Talbot County Emergency Services, Easton, MD — 2008-2016

Shift supervisor for 911 emergency response system. Oversee 10 employees that operate 5 paramedic units.
Oversee the fleet maintenance program and maintain 30 vehicles. Key management functions include
employee scheduling, payroll, employee evaluations, assessing new employees, quality assurance, incident
debriefing/peer support, training new and current employees, handle customer/public interactions and
complaints. Implemented new electronic patient care reporting system and trained all employees on its use.
